Hi Ed, I replied to your posting about mobile apps! Waiting for the moderators to post it. Its been awhile. I wanted to let you know we cover alot of the features you and others were talking about. We are working on the one you said was the "Holy Grail" which is automatically downloading a digital version of the owners manual. Shoot me an email if you have questions!

All opinions expressed are my own.

I entered the automotive space almost 25 years ago, working in a declining sector of a decidedly old school industry. After eight years I could read the writing on the wall – my little corner of the automotive world was dying. It wasn't fun anymore and I found that more and more, I didn't feel good about what I was selling. It was time to find new opportunities.

I went to work for a virtually unknown, but well-funded start-up selling online automotive classifieds. The excitement of selling to dealers that were ready to embrace change was exhilarating. It was a privilege to help build that company into the multi-billion dollar giant it has become.

The next challenge came in the form of helping dealers learn how to navigate the radically changed landscape that the Internet had produced. It was no longer enough to use old strategies to advertise on a new medium. Not only did consumers benefit from the wealth of information, so did many dealers. And again, it was the cutting edge dealers that were the best able to embrace the change and take the fullest advantage of the transformed marketplace with new strategies.
