    Pixelmator is a pretty good alternative, if you have a mac. But I just can't get used to Gimp. If all you need is picture retouching you can also get Aperture or Lightroom - both are much cheaper than Photoshop.

    Run->Query Builder Run menu is on the top bar. The initial setup is a bit long. You need to pick the name of the file, criteria, store and so on... after the initial setup is done. You just need to load it and run it.
