Amazon buying Whole Foods is more evidence that Bricks & Mortar has an essential place in retail. Other evidence includes
  1. BestBuy sales are winning (in store and online)
  2. Vroom buys Texas Direct (old news but highly relevant)
In specialty retail* the Bricks and Mortar experience can be superior to an online only experience. If the product sold is expensive, then, webrooming is a natural part of a shoppers workflow**.
