Overview

If you love working with customers and teaching your team to engage on a personal level to help customers seeking to fulfill their dream of owning a Recreational Vehicle then this is an excellent opportunity for you. Our team members are the true drivers of our business. Their care and concern for customers who shop online for vehicles is essential to our success.

We are looking for a long term, goal oriented Business Development Center Manager with a strong history of performance in assisting customers who need trusted guidance in their purchase decision. This is a ground level opportunity as you will be shaping the design of the department and working with the company management to deliver an exceptional experience. You’ll have the autonomy as well as the necessary support to make this a department you can be proud of.

Responsibilities

-developing, supervising and continually improving systems for a high volume of inbound/outbound calls, emails and chats

-maintaining and improving the best systems for generating dealership appointments

-staffing, scheduling, reviewing compensation and incentives, and maintaining accountability for all BDC employees

-coaching and training all BDC employees; encouraging competition while fostering a team environment

-productivity management, to include but not be limited to:

· assuring all scheduled appointments are solidly confirmed

· tracking the status of all leads and appointments

· assuring a minimum number of appointments for each customer service rep

· monitoring lead-to appointment percentages, appointment-to-sale percentages, and more

· holding the team responsible for a minimum number of outgoing calls

-understanding the dealerships sales philosophies, principles and culture

-being a team player, within the department, and the dealership as a whole

Requirements

-Relevant work experience and background

-Strong customer service and communication skills

-Positive, can-do attitude

-Computer and typing skills; must be extremely familiar with a PC/MAC and associated programs

-Must have flexibility with work schedule; weekends and holidays

-Neat, clean, and professional appearance

-MUST have dealership AND Business Development Center experience

The successful candidate will be a top performer and results oriented individual, capable of motivating others. Superior communication will be essential. They will be directly accountable to the top-level management.

Schedule

This is a full-time job and some Saturdays are required, always closed Sundays. Another day off in the week in also given. Holiday and vacation days are flexible.
