Carsdirect.com- who is using/used them and thoughts...

Anyone out there using carsdirect.com. They have been approaching me for a while and are no offering a trial.

If you use or have used them what do/did you think?

How us their support?

Quality of leads?

Any increase in sales?

I would appreciate any responses

Thanks for the feedback, we use craigslist now great for creating click throughs. You wouldn't give carsdirect.com any more credit that craigslist?

I haven't heard much about CarsDirect lately. Hopefully someone has some recent experience they can share.

I hope so also. I am guessing by the underwhelming response many of the DR dealers have tried and gave up on CarsDirect.

I'm not going to correct you. I used them in the early 00s and they were great back then. Haven't used them since.

If you are not getting calls from CL is because you dont have a call to action in the ad with a banner or something of the sort.

Alex, thanks again, I am just wondering why no one I talk to uses them currently. Some people have but all many years ago. Just trying to get a solid pulse on their product.

Yago, I get calls from craig's my statement was not discounting the amount phone ups and click throughs I get from them but the spam is unbeliveable as you all know.

I have been approached by them as well. At least in my situation, other dealers on here may be the same, I have a budget to work with and I have a priority list for vendors I would like to add. When that budget increases or I drop something, I can pull in a vendor on that list or increase my spend with a current vendor. Currently, I can't even see Carsdirect breaking my top 5.
