In house inventory management

To me it sounds like there are two possible outcomes to this.

1. You find that it's easier to get done. Your turnaround time shrinks and you save a bunch of money.

2. You stink at it but now know exactly what it takes to get the job done and can feel that the dollars spent are justified.

Peter Thiel's Rule # <var>
planning is arrogant and inflexible. Instead you should try things out,”

When we were servicing lots, we had a dealer who wanted their photos online ASAP so we took 2 photos (front and front-corner) of the vehicle and put it online without any detailing before it hit service, without staging
Then when the vehicle was through the recon process, our guy would delete those two pictures and add 40 new pictures of the detailed car.

You could do that.
Doing inhouse is always cheaper than hiring a company, but in this case you are taking over the headaches and logistics of people and now you are responsible for getting the photos online rather than chewing out a vendor/service provider.
