I am sure you got this covered with Haystak, but I'll mention it any ways. Be sure you can look under the hood. You'll want to see all of the config settings, many are automated, others are setup by peeps that dont know your market like you do (watch the GEOs).
OEMs shackle vendors with Compliance regs that force vendors to do things that you may not agree with.
