MailChimp Tips? - Spank that monkey!

We switched from Mail Chimp to SendinBlue recently due to MC's soaring costs. SendinBlue's UI is intuitive and there were no issues in migrating our customer list over to the new service.

Thinking of moving everything to DealerSocket. Talk me out of it - Or confirm my thinking.

FYI: Solera is the company that bought out DealerSocket earlier this year … shortly thereafter they fired approx. 35% of DS’s workforce and shipped most of the engineering/development jobs off to India...

Tekion - EV Digital Retail solution for car dealers?

"What's interesting is none of the dealers featured on Tekion's testimonial page seem to use Tekion digital retailing on their website." That's true with most DR provider websites. Most have testimonials from customers who no longer use their services.

@Brad Burlingham You mentioned you were going live with the Tekion DMS/CRM back in June. Just wondering how it's going and if you have any pros & cons you can share.

    602% rate increase - Cargurus

@Chris - Obviously you cannot pay what they're asking, but if you stay consistent in the negotiations, hopefully you can arrive at something that works for both parties. Don't give up because they don't want to lose your business.

    602% rate increase - Cargurus

Dan Sayer took a survey in October of 2020 of what dealerships around the country were paying for Cargurus and what their average monthly results were in terms of SRP totals and VDP views. Google My Business adds inventory

DBA is saying they can just scrape all the required inventory info from a dealer's website. When asked if dealers can send their inventory feed directly to Google, DBA's reply was "Not at this time. Dealers need to go through an approved vendor."

    Google My Business adds inventory

They're saying the inventory postings will not initially be indexed by Google. But they're pointing to what Google did with SWIS. Initially when SWIS was launched the listings we're not indexed and then a little later on users saw inventory posted via SWIS showing up in the Google search results.

    Google My Business adds inventory

I just saw that DBA out of St. Petersburg, FL is an approved vendor and they are charging $35/mo per location with a one year contract. And right now, the inventory tabs will only show up in the mobile view of a GMB listing.

New GM logo - what were they thinking?

@ Jeff Kershner - Definitely a DIY job on the truck. Can't say I'm a fan of the truck or the new GM logo. Even Alex would agree that the new GM logo is totally tragic. Heh Heh.

New GM logo - what were they thinking?

Wow. Their new color scheme actually goes well with this used GMC Sierra we just took in on trade.
