@Stefan nice find. Do you need to pay for the service for more accurate data? I ask because I just ran 2 different Mercedes and the "free" VIN check was terribly wrong.

From what my team tells me, it has data for about 60% of the cars and it depends on the year, make and if the vehicle was sold retail in us. It also appears that they are working hard on adding new info to their database quite often. For sure not a perfect solution but it is useful.

@jscole86, @Jeff Kershner and @Stefan. Are you guys utilizing Homenets Enhanced Vehicle Data??? If you don't have it activated for your account, you need to put in the request to get it turned on. It might help out.

It gives you all the optional equipment data (Vin Specific) that came on the cars from the factory from that list!! Example:

And if you click into a pkg, it shows the details of the option pkg.

Yes we are definitely signed up for that - it's been a huge time saver for our merchandising! We have Chevy / Subaru franchises so they are both covered and that's been a huge help - our biggest time suck for used is probably Ford, specifically trucks, along with older vehicles.

Didn't realize this entire time you can click in and see details of the package!
