How's Your Month Going?

They're pretty conservative and they love to be negative, but they're typically pretty honest.

With that said, I think this fleet strategy is the real deal. Tesla is also being accused of selling cars to "fleet" and then parking them off-site.

Looks like some of the big players have gone heavy on fleet though, as outlined in Zero Hedge.

“Any favorable view we have of the market is because of sales into fleets,” said Zohaib Rahim, manager of economics and industry insights at Cox. “The market peak of 2016 is behind us and retail sales are softening more and more now.”

Cox seems set on rough times ahead. This is the second article I've seen, this morning, that has their folks talking about it.

Zohaib Rahim of Cox said:

Automotive News said:
The picture at the retail sales level is not rosy.

Cox Automotive Chief Economist Jonathan Smoke may have said it best: "There are no huge, real solutions as we look six months out."

Not to mention how glum other Cox employees are in 1:1 conversation.

Some of it, not all of it. @craigh

From my seat, it's "All of it, not some of it". ZeroHedge is a permabear, I'd love to be corrected. Plz show me evidence otherwise.

From my decade(?) of following zerohedge, he's always somewhere between regretfully neutral to "only idiots would buy this rally", to "Defcon 1 is imminent". It's a classic study of confirmation bias with an intellectual narrative.

I'm not going to dig through every article that's ever been posted to ZeroHedge, but it's not ALL negative. There are loads of contributors and there's just no way each of them report negatively. I'll say that they do use some scare tactics to promote some of their stuff, but to be honest, most of their articles reference (link within) what mainstream media would deem "credible sources."

Tell me again, everything is rainbows and unicorns right?

Pff yeah, it's fine:)
