Boycott the Third Party Sites like it's 2010!

good ideas! If you have 2-3 photos before front line, and you excluded those, you didn't find that slowed your rate?

    QR Codes for Inventory

I think I'm going to do this with our lot inventory as well. I'm curious to see how many people are viewing these cars using the QR code. Makes for a great audience to retarget on social media!

    QR Codes for Inventory

You can do it with HomeNet as long as you have the original website URL in there - we use DDC now, but I did use to have a CDK site where I had their URL pulling in. From there I just used data conversions to append the URL field using the UTM tags you need. Message me, happy to assist however I...

    QR Codes for Inventory

If you have HomeNet or vAuto, they can do that for you through their window stickers solution. Shouldn't cost you any extra.

    E-Signatures -- Wassup?

The short answer, no one does this well. Those that do it, haven't made it as easy as it could be, and it's probably fragmented across systems. If you want to do it right, start with the end result and work backwards. For a dealer, the end result is getting funded for a deal. Getting...

Thanks for clarifying, for some reason the url's were blurry in the screenshots on my computer.

Are your Facebook Marketplace listings being hijacked?

Which 3rd party vendors did you see doing it? We use Homenet to post to Facebook Marketplace, but prior we had Cars.com doing it and they linked to VDP on website.

    GM MAAP Pricing

Lease pricing will be included in GM's MAAP policy - they are going to tie due at signing amount as a % of MSRP, and set a limit. That's 1 thing I really do like the idea of.

    GM MAAP Pricing

I haven’t seen it yet, but it was my understanding that it was only going to be for certain models - mainly for new redesigns and newly launched models. But who knows!

Hey Ford Dealers... Check your CRM's email automation before your Bronco reservations tell you to "buck off"

Sorry @Rob - somehow missed this. Been a bit busy with work and a new 4 week old at home. @Alex Snyder hit it on the head. The workflow and processes of the current CRM's are very dated and don't fit the dynamic workflows that today's customer requires AND JUST AS IMPORTANT, today's sales...

Carvana Partnering With Dealerships - Partner Inventory?

Sounds like partner dealers had to sign an NDA and couldn’t discuss. https://aimgroup.com/2020/08/14/carvana-enters-into-marketplace-territory/

Hey Ford Dealers... Check your CRM's email automation before your Bronco reservations tell you to "buck off"

If it wasn't for OEM requirements, our CRM would be toast --> (and would not be replaced).

Is DealerRater breaking Schema rules for leverage against dealers?

I agree if you post an average rating score - you should show the total # of reviews used to calculate that avergae rating score. Personally, I'd rather see all reviews and then have the ability to filter to most recent reviews to read

Best Examples of "Thank You Pages"?

Better to use "events" to track those actions versus UTM tags. You can create your own custom events using Google Tag Manager. If you have questions about how to do that, I'm happy to help, as I'm sure the rest of the DR community is!

Do You Leave the Dealership License Plate Frame On or Off?

Hopefully you take all the vehicle logos and decals off too. Don't forget about that free advertising you are participating in.. I do understand from a vendor point of view.
