TAKE POLL How many offers to CHAT would frustrate YOU?

In a perfect world, yes but it's not really about what you want in a transaction necessarily. It is what customers want and how they want to engage. I spoke with a dealer yesterday, using one of my competitor products and he tells me they get 15- 25 chat requests per day with a 1 out of 4...

TAKE POLL How many offers to CHAT would frustrate YOU?

I guess I need to reference back which buttons I was referring to. This whole thread was based on Jeff Kershner's comment of "When was the last time you stepped through your own dealer website and at one point found yourself frustrated because every damn time you went to a new page, some Chat...

TAKE POLL How many offers to CHAT would frustrate YOU?

These are some of the reasons I have partnered with Sales Text Chat. I get so tired of the bothersome buttons on a website, also the delay in live chat is very annoying. I think people chat so much in their daily lives it is only logical Text Chat is the way to go.

Using Slydial to make follow-up sales and service calls

I found a product called Slydial, it is only 2.95 monthly and it's great. If I need to get word to a customer or family member without interupting them, I use Slydial. It rings straight to their voicemail. I leave my message and go on about my business.

The Value of a Domain Name

The url has been around for a few years. It was an active site until about 45 days ago. Just commenting on the stickiness of the postioning. It needs to be used quickly or it will go begin to drop, but due to the history it will do well still unlike a new domain.

The Value of a Domain Name

I have learned over the years to not tell everything you know about something. It's a great URL and I will never sell it (well, never say never). If nothing else it would be a great portal site URL. Lookup "houston dodge dealer" in Google, it's #9 then click on it, same thing.

The Value of a Domain Name

let's restate some facts. 1. I am not an employee, but a vendor. 2. It's not the dealers name, it is the brand (ex:houstonforddealer.com) 3. Every invoice stated "Tracourt retains ownership of the domain name"

The Value of a Domain Name

I performed SEO services for almost 4 years for a dealer. I provided him with the domain of www.houston(insert their brand here)dealer. I was very clear with who owned the domain. In fact, every invoice I reminded them that I was the owner of the domain. Guess what? Yep, got...

    Where SEO begins

Indie is exactly right, so many focus on just ranking and not results. The key is working for the right keywords. Many seem to think the most popular is "yourcity" "your brand" dealer, not necessarily so. Here's an example from Wordtracker: houston chevrolet dealer showed up in their database...

    Better Integration Among Vendors

I don't see that happening. I base that on history here in Houston. Years ago in the '80s, an Olds dealer (Rice Menger Oldsmobile) long since gone, started that new concept of one price selling. He put his final price on the window of every new and used vehicle on the lot. It didn't work. Peope...

    Tips for Vendors

These are all great ideas. We vendors should be prepared to offer insight, advice and be ready to help dealer personell without having to resort to sales pitches. I like the approach of reaping what you sow. I try to offer my customers and prospects any help I can and that is what earns the...
