    100% agree with you. Domain age/authority is very important, being able to remember it isnt if you are optimized properly.

    Facebook data is weak at best now. Real success requires outside targeting data. I am not a fan of using lookalikes for that reason. I feel it is Facebook's way of funneling off your budget. They will show your ads to people, that's for sure, but are those people truly in market?

    Yup, that makes sense. Retargeting would perform much better than a standard carousel. All I am saying is the carousel format isn't chosen because it's the best performing style of ad, it's chosen because that's how dynamic ads work.

    Dynamic new car carousels historically don’t perform very well at all. Analytics would show you that. Put a well constructed collection ad up against a dynamic carousel and the carousel loses every time.

    The beater analogy is actually not very good because in most cases the dealer is paying as much for automated, set it and forget it, dynamic laziness as he would be for high quality custom work.

    Dynamic only benefits the vendor because they don't have to do much. The software does it all. It is typically very sloppy. I have seen dynamic ad vendors post the wrong dealerships inventory. Can you imagine ads running from your Facebook page with your competitors inventory and overlays? #OUCH
