Which ad source gets credit for the sale?

Absolutely agreed. And the hard part is to turn our legacy sales team into customer relationship experts to explain programs (and new features) to our customers. That for me is the "last..."

Which ad source gets credit for the sale?

Really an amazing question considering all of the different influencers. Do we ask the customer - will they even know? How do we get inside of the customers mind to understand what really moves them? We have tried a few different things, increasing spends in specific areas of marketing to see if...

    Google Analytics weirdness

thanks Carl - thats close but not exactly what we are seeing. We ARE seeing the traffic on our logs - AND the traffic is mapping back to IP's that are in our GEO. The problem we are finding is that somehow GA is binding the location of these clicks to a VA server. The traffic is going through...

    Google Analytics weirdness

That's a brilliant reply - well done. We actually have it isolated to AOL users mobile clicks. And have been told they are working to resolve the issue with google.

    Google Analytics weirdness

Hello again, About a week ago we started seeing some weirdness with our Google Analytics (GA) tracking. Anywhere between 20-35% of our traffic is showing up as coming from Virginia. It doesn't matter the source: internal emails, conquest, search, banners - GA is showing our traffic as coming...

    Conquest Email Services - Exposed?

Thanks John, and yes I do agree that Brian is mostly accurate. My point about the report was that in the end it looks like a pretty big sales pitch for CityTwist. And for the media dollars we have spent with CityTwist, it looks like a lot of the same crap that Brian was warning against. What's...

    Conquest Email Services - Exposed?

Did anyone see Pasch's new industry report - some sales guy at Citytwist just forwarded me a copy. Looks like a total sales pitch for the scammers at Citytwist. Lots of good stuff from Brian but in the end this is a total sales job and the company he partnered with is full of crap.

    Conquest Email Services - Exposed?

Agreed with Chris - Well said. Looks like you have a great program.

    Conquest Email Services - Exposed?

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. This conversation totally mirrors the analysis we have been doing over the past year. CityTwist, Data Dynamix, BMi, Take5, LeadMe and V12 - all suck. Total waste of my time and money. Our current program does show some real light. About 80% of the traffic is mobile and...

    Conquest Email Services - Exposed?

We have tested with CityTwist, Take5, V12, LeadMe, Edirect and Keono. Almost all of these guys delivered BS traffic. Weird clicks from all over the place, desktop only??? Seriously? We are paying a premium with Acxiom to run a real campaign. They send us the list of people they are targeting...

    Conquest Email Services - Exposed?

These guys at Take5 are crooks. Very similar experience with them and the idiots at CityTwist. We have been working with the team at Acxiom to manage our conquest sends. They actually send us the list of people who they are emailing BEFORE they send the campaign. I would never expect to sell a...
