According to a USA Today article, Christmas and Christmas Eve are 2 of the top 10 best times to buy a used car. But with your dealership closed on those days, shoppers have only your website to rely on.

In my interview with Drive Motors CEO Aaron Krane, Aaron shares some numbers with us that reflect the benefits of providing website visitors with an online shopping/checkout tool to give online shoppers the ability to go further into the buying process while you and your staff are enjoying their own holidays.

Online orders in 2016 were highest on December 15 (+67%) and December 28 (61%), followed by second-highest on December 20 (+39%) and December 29 (+39%), with growth being compared to the average daily sales in December 2016.

In fact, according to Drive Motors, dozens of car dealers made over 50% of their December online sales in the final 7 days of the year (Christmas Eve through New Year’s Eve).

Here's the interview from FB Live. What other ideas have you deployed at your dealership to drive more sales over the holiday season?
