Im looking at rebuilding our website to manage it in house as we have a lot going on with AI, automation and data being built in the backend and the lack of ability to tie some of this into our website is a huge pain in the butt. I've built websites for years and have previously built some of this externally but I've hit a roadblock on some of the things I need to make this actually happen and not just become a pipedream.

If it wasnt hard enough already being located in Canada seems to make it almost impossible lol

I've found inventory providers like Homenet, Autoverify but I cannot for the life of me find a solution for Incentives and Rebates that isn't costing us more then what we are paying for our website. In the past I had used ChromeData for $300 or so USD per month but it appears their whole system has changed and they are about $1000 per month for their solution which is more then what we pay for our website currently.

We are a Ford dealer, I looked at Ford Direct but you need to be a big player to become a part of it it seems.

I guess what Im asking is if anyone knows any solutions to finding a way to plugin in inventory (whether through something like Homenet) to rebates, rates etc. Has anyone here built and manage their own sites? Im not opposed to going full out on this so I want to leave no stone unturned and am trying to find some options before I pull the plug on it.

I might be able to help here - we have a website product (in Canada) but it's completely disconnected from our inventory syndication platform, so technically I have a headless inventory management system that you would hit with API calls to manage your inventory. It also has ChromeData/JDP data access, from VIN decoding to stock photos and LenderDesk incentives.

If you want to build the website part and layer it on top of an existing inventory syndication solution I can find out what the hard cost would be on that.

Interesting... great to hear! As a fellow Canadian - glad to hear this... obviously Ford has an approved list right? is that going to be a challenge? Just curious is all. When it comes to new inventory and monthly programs that is going to be the toughest part... i would think that feed goes from Ford to vendors that are on the approved list so for somebody outside to get it on the 1st is going to be tough. Now there could be work arounds - but it may be a manual process that takes some time (though maybe quick each month) and if changes mid-month could require updates. But I don't know of a platform that pulls new car programs..

✨ AI Highlights

A Canadian dealer is rebuilding their website in-house to integrate AI, automation, and backend data tools, but is struggling to find affordable solutions for incentives and rebates data — noting that ChromeData's pricing has apparently changed and that operating in Canada limits available options. The thread highlights a real gap in the market for cost-effective, Canada-compatible incentive and rebate data feeds for dealers running custom-built websites.
