The difference between sales and marketing...
This week is an incredibly exciting one. Over the last couple of years, we have been developing solutions to what problems desperately need to be solved in automotive... and honestly, now we've been building them - we've seen why nobody has done it before. It's incredibly hard.
See... when I started in automotive 10 years ago, technology for sales and marketing was booming... but in a really strange direction. Everyone knew marketing tech was important so many companies went to build a solution, but what ensued was a birth of tech focused on a specific segment; such as great paid marketing and targeting tactics, or really fast and pretty websites, valuing trades... etc.
Each one of these companies did great things (some better than others)... but when it came down to orchestrating an entire strategy, a lot of dealers still fall flat unless they have someone skilled internally that can develop a true multi-touch marketing strategy.
What people failed to realize about how modern marketing works, is that from the very first click / view of an ad... all the way down to the communications out of the CRM - this should be all part of the same fluid conversation. From paid ads > to website content > conversion tools > dealer CRM... there is no reason those things should be separated. In fact, by losing data between those touchpoints by using different vendors and plugins - we were never able truly understand our customer.
• Because of this... dealers were never able to speak to our customer with intent.
•Because of this… dealers paid multiple vendors to bandaid our strategy.
•Because of this… dealers weren’t given the customer service and strategy they so desperately needed.
When I was young... I was always told "you have to ears and one mouth for a reason"... the fact is, that in sales and marketing the same principal still holds true. This is why we've spent so long building the correct technology stack and foundation to be able to solve this problem once and for all.
This Friday, we are going to be releasing a product suite we call "Loop". This suite is going to be the combination of everything we do so well for dealerships already, coupled with the missing links our industry has been desperate for. It will include an industry leading combination of:

What we have created is a true communication platform… From the largest marketing conversations all the way down to individual customers; the macro and the micro, we have built a solution to handle it all. Our mission is to connect car buyers and sellers together using remarkably simple-to-use technology and intelligent product design. I’m proud to say we’re well on our way!
