Auto Responders

I wish I had these answers, but they're keeping me in the dark, aside from their assumptions.
They believe the photos are helping them outsell their competitors and they did go from #3 of 3 in the city to #1. However, that could have been the website change, addition of New Inventory photos, the fact that the other dealers were renovating, etc.

You are correct, there is not just one thing that helped them but many positive changes. All the things you added are pretty important in the digital world. Autoresponders are one piece of that puzzle.

Most good CRMs have autoresponders, eLead or dealer socket to mention two.

You can also create rudimentary autoresponders with MS Outlook.

But! You can also have templates set and send the response yourself with much better data and chances to make a deal than anything else you can send.

I think @Elise Kephart should also put her two cents here about her personalized work and how that yielded better results than automated systems.

When the dealership is open it should be a real response and not an auto responder. The most viewed email is the first one, so why would you want it to be an auto responder? Personalize your message and be different. Dealership is closed, then by all means send an auto responder that appears to have come from a real person. Don't send it until at least 5 minutes after the lead arrives.
