Full-time, Mid-Senior level position in Dealer Training

Location- New York, Boston, Connecticut, Massachusetts & North Carolina.

The Training Consultant will work with Dealer Principals, General Managers, Fixed Operations Managers, and Sales staff of dealers for the implementation and utilization of izmocars programs, by providing training and coaching solutions with measurable results. This person is responsible for maintaining best practices and a high level of performance in accessory sales and Internet sales. The main goal of consulting will be implementing a new Accessory Program and a Proven Internet Sales Process helping dealers grow Revenue over time.
This position requires that the Training Consultant should be able to understand different environments at dealerships and independently develop custom processes and practices for each dealer. The candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated persuasive leadership and team-building skills.
Ideally, this candidate would have worked in a dealership retail environment, preferably in F&I or Sales management position, providing leadership to a group of individuals, and have extensive training experience with both small and large groups. The Training Consultant should have a deep understanding of how the different departments in dealerships work and what are the different setups of sales and fixed operation departments in dealerships. This person should also have a good understanding of sales models and how to motivate success at a field level, while satisfying complex corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consulting and training which ensure that each client’s performance contributes to the business goals of the company.
  • Conduct needs analysis; identify performance gaps; develop and deliver consulting and training to address areas that may impede performance.
  • Work closely with dealer managers to identify training needs, keeping a finger on the pulse of our clients and prospects and engaging regularly as needed, to sustain a consistently high level of performance.
  • Ensure the effectiveness, quality, and integrity of our sales and client management processes by teaming with the Sales and Implementation Teams.
Required Skills:


  • Proven success as F&I manager or sales manager including experience in delivering and evaluating Process driven training programs in a consultative sales environment.
  • Experienced in selling customers post car sales and delivering training plans, curriculum, and certification models.
  • Strong presentation skills and creativity are both essential.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively from a remote/home office.
  • 4-6 years automotive retail management experience in F&I or Sales management and in-depth working knowledge of automotive dealership structure, sales and fixed operations.
  • Deep knowledge of cars, accessories and Internet sales.
  • Proven analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with computer or Internet delivered programs.
