Job Description:

  • Responsible for the hiring and managing of the sales team to provide success and world-class customer service
  • Coach, lead and develop your sales team’s skills and product knowledge through training, evaluation and role play
  • Must be a strong closer, willing to engage customers early in the sale to obtain maximum gross profit
  • Actively support, encourage and motivate sales personnel daily to maintain high morale
  • Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity and accountability
  • Analyze and track sales performance and employee targets to ensure continuous progress towards set goals
  • Continuously follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate future leads
  • Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership when needed

Job Requirements
  • Experience as an Automotive Sales Manager required
  • Proven experience leading a successful sales team
  • Solid work history and a strong track record of exceeding performance requirements
  • Must have an outgoing and engaging personality, who enjoys developing solid relationships with potential customers (i.e. a “people person")
  • Ability to execute long and short term sales strategies
  • Experience creating action plans to drive performance of the sales team
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through consistently
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to complete a pre-employment screening which includes a background check and drug screen
