The text allowed in the thread title box is quite limited but here I will show an example of when advertising a electronic coupon offer through a second party can go sour. In this example this dealership used a large firm that advertises offers to the public via' email,text. They're a great company if you still haven't heard of them they're Groupon based in San Fransisco,Ca.

What this dealership did is a very common marketing ploy (bait and switch) and very affective when done correctly. They offered 50% off on window tinting in an effort to try to reel in customers to there sales floor.

The issue arouse when the outsourced service wasn't so great and when customers went to look for a source to release there frustrations they targeted the dealership online with negative reviews. This tarnished the dealerships reputation "online" and it will consequently take some time to recuperate.

How to protect yourself?

If you're taking this approach in your marketing the following will help to prevent such mishaps;

1. Make customers sign a waiver that the service is not directly associated with your dealership.

(If you can provide a waiver to various review sites, they will be more inclined to to remove negative reputation when contacted directly)

2. Actually test run the quality of work that they provide and don't base it on there "reputation".
3. When using Groupon for a sub-service use a different business name with the same address or number. Is this unethical? Negative. The service could very well be held the same building but not under the same business. If you receive a tire rotation at the local Costco auto shop should the food court suffer when things go astray? They're different business's.

Lastly Don't Have Your Webmaster Photoshop Faux Reviews Redirected on your On Home Page!

This can only lead to much bigger issues in the future as it is clearly fraud.
