Ross Downing Chevrolet is looking for a Business Development Manager for our dealership.
You will be actively managing an automotive sales staff and ensuring that our proven strategies for success are being implemented. We’re looking for someone who is both willing to learn but also brings new ideas to the table.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Manage database of lead activity including showroom activity, internet leads and phone-
ups
-Produce reports of deliveries and lead activity
-Train all sales consultant staff members to be competent at producing more quality
showroom traffic
-Work hands-on with sales consultants to make sure that follow-up procedures and daily
work plans are being completed
We’re looking for the following attributes:
-Leadership. This is a management position. The responsibility of getting results rests with your ability to organize and motivate a team. This includes being a great communicator when it comes to both phone skills and face-to-face communication.
-Responsibility. The ability to multi-task and meet goals is vital in this position; the success of the company will be directly affected by your ability to produce results. If you are unable to handle the responsibility of a goal-oriented management position, this
is not the job for you.
-Dependability. Being reliable means being punctual, well-prepared, and confident.
Reports generated by you for your fellow managers and sales consultants must be accurate and useful in making future business decisions.
