DCH Toyota of Torrance has an excellent opportunity available for an exceptional General Sales Manager, in a prime Los Angeles location. We have outstanding processes and policies, as well as a great team in place. We respect a well-controlled yet progressive approach to business. We need you to help ensure we are on the leading edge of our industry and a profitable retail operation. Our General Sales Managers are key people and are well respected and supported in our organization.

Requirements: The job requires a person with a strong knowledge of front end dealership operations, with excellent communication, leadership, management, process, follow-through, planning and administrative skills. The ideal candidate would possess proven organizational skills and be able to manage a large department, including scheduling work shifts, lunches and breaks to create the most efficient structure possible without sacrificing our ability to serve our customers. You must be able to constructively problem solve and effectively diffuse customer and employee issues. The General Sales Manager must exhibit a pleasant, courteous and positive personality and be willing and able to assist both customers and dealership personnel. The job requires a person to multi-task and work under pressure. You must be efficient, accurate, thorough, accountable, and consistent with processes and procedures. This is a key position in the dealership and as such excellent performance and attendance is a necessity. The candidate must be a pro-active self-starter, who has the proven ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. In addition, we are looking for someone that is an excellent trainer and delegator. You must be able to multi task, while consistently delivering results. Proven success in internet sales, used car sales, F&I is required – as is a proven track record of achieving aggressive new car market share objectives.

Compensation and Benefits: We have a competitive compensation and benefits package. Compensation depends upon the qualifications of the individual.
