Looking for a Citation Source......"the Internet generates over $??? billion in car sales"

DealerRefresh.com Publishes Dramatic Discovery: 92.5% of all Automobiles Sold were Strongly Influenced by Internet Shopping.

Springfield, IL January 17th, 2012 – DealerRefresh (aka DR), a wholly owned subsidiarity of Jeff Kershnser enterprises in conjunction with a strategic alliance among DR's rabid Dealer audience offers its 1st Dealer Awareness study results.

DR community participants were polled to reveal the impact of the Interweb to it's customers and to gauge their Dealers Top Management's
financial commitment to the Interweb.

Jeff Kershner states "Based on our semi-scientific study, our Dealer based community tells us that 92.5% of all sales trace back to the the internet... somehow. Although no one can figure out where they are all coming from, it's quite clear the Internet is the bedrock of all commerce and the car industry is no different."

Mr Kershner continues... "Based on our data, we can safely extrapolate that of the 14.2 million NEW cars projected to be sold in 2012, the Internet will influence a shit load of sales. If you don't like those numbers, or you don't like our quasi-scientific methodology, see Alex Snyder, head of complaints here at DR.".

DealerRefresh would also like to point out findings from the esteemed Internet savant, Mr Scott Paintballer. Mr Paintballer is CEO of the slow motion train-wreck called TruelyWishICouldDoItOver.com.

Mr. PaintBaller is on record stating that if Car Dealers would stop ripping off shoppers, that another 14 sales could be made in Podunk Nebraska alone. For the record, giant killers, Jim "Alpha Dog" Ziegler and Jerry "Not Tebow" Tibeau made note that Mr PaintBallers data should be considered ill-liquid as Podunk Ford is the only Dealer that Mr PaintBaller has DMS access to these days.

DealerRefresh is a Maryland based Interweb company that services a small community of big mouth Dealer nerds that think they know it all (including that Pistell moron). DR has offices in tax havens all over the globe, and, as DR faithful point out, Mr Kershner rarely has time to post anything these days, mostly due to frequent flights to the Carribean to fulfill his ex-patriot status.

I'm sure there's probably numbers out there but, considering how many dealers - including many here on DR - won't attribute a sale to the Internet unless it starts with an email or phone call directly from their website or a third party site first, my guess it that any estimate of Internet-generated sales is probably greatly undercounted.
