Is anyone asking what you are receiving for that additional $$. Looking at numbers it would appear Dealerships should be asking for a reduction based on declining visitors to their site. The trend is clear. 
No increase here, yet. I did get an email from my rep about all of the "new and exciting" things cars.com is doing. It is possible i'm being buttered up....

Just as a follow up. I cancelled Cars.com for our one rooftop and have seen no change in our used car business other than a few extra grand in my monthly budget now.

They have some new reporting features that include additional market intelligence in the pipeline for 2015. Keep your eyes open for a more comprehensive article about this over on the blog. I'll update this thread when it's posted.

It frightens me with a read a comment like this, because you don't know the specifics...
- What package were they on?
- What Region?
- What OEM (if using new car package)?
- Volume of in-stock new and used?
- Posting price / pricing to market?
- Quality / Best practices with merchandising?
- Quality and number of photos...
Brian, I'm not pointing fingers.. as it looks as if you do a good job. I'm merely using your comment as an example so when our members and lurkers are reading, they are reminded to consider all the different variables that ones needs to consider.

Glad to know we are not alone. Our rep is telling us that Cars.com is moving every dealer to standardized contracts/rates. Our contracts are going up only about 3%, but it's still too much in my opinion.
About a month ago our rep said the rates were increasing. I just said cancel it then. Then she said OK we can go back to your old rates. LOL
