Honcker is seeking an experienced automotive Customer Service Representative to work out of Manhattan office. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast growing startup that is changing the way customers can lease vehicles.

- Professionally handle incoming client and vendor requests via phone and email, ensuring that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
- Serve as the frontline for customer support inquiries across multiple channels simultaneously (email, phone, live chat, etc.)
- Handle all client inquires, requests and thoroughly educate them on the service
- Provide quality support in the areas of handling questions, troubleshooting, and account assistance
- Provide First Call Resolution to clients
- Facilitate customer order process via online platform
- Work with other departments as client advocates to ensure resolution
- Look for innovative ways to better the product and improve the customer experience
- Provide innovative feedback to management to continue to better the department and processes…we want you to have a voice
- Work through creative solutions to effectively answer customer questions, provide guidance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and route feedback
- Manage queue of open issues to deliver timely and effective solutions - escalating when necessary
- Communicate bugs and user feedback to our Product team
- Help with customer retention and contribute recommendations for improving our product and processes
- Enthusiastic team player with a passion for technology and customer service
- Intermediate computer skills with an ability to be trained on our customer service platform (Zendesk)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an understanding of proper etiquette
- 2-4 years of auto industry experience preferred
- Rotating Sunday schedule (5 work days per week)
- Must work from our office in Manhattan
- A history of being punctual, responsible and reliable
- Motivated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic about his/her work
- Previous experience working in customer service or a call center environment a plus but not required
- Compensation- Starting salary $35,000 - $45,000 based on experience and ability; plus benefits after 90 days
