Team Velocity, Space Auto, DealerMasters/Team MXS seem to be absent. Otherwise this is a solid list.

The fact that there is only one link makes it look more like spam than a real post, a moderator should remove the link and stop all the Parasite SEO!

It will kill the forum!

But either way the questions people should be asking is:

How many of these providers actually care about your dealership?

For example.

1. ADA Compliance (Legal)
If your site isn’t compliant, you get sued, not your vendor. Lawsuits are increasing every year, and settlements aren’t cheap.

I've checked the code and I couldn't find any websites that don't have ADA problems and overlays and plugins do not fix the problems, they make you a target.

2. Performance (Lost Revenue)
If your site is slow, you lose leads. Period.

Check Google Lighthouse scores you'll see errors and load time problems with the entire list.

3. Code Quality (Professional Validate their Code)
One broken component can impact accessibility and conversions. Yet all the sites on the list I checked have bad code that doesn't validate.

4. Data Ownership (Control)
Who owns your customer data?

If you don’t control your data, you don’t control your business.

5. Looking Like Your Competition
Most of these platforms sell templates. If everyone is using the same templates how do you standout from the competition?

A “big name” vendor doesn’t mean a better outcome.

It just means better marketing.

Is anyone really fighting for the dealership?
Whose building something that will help the dealership compete with 3rd party Marketplaces like Car Gurus, Auto Trader, and the like?

Dj, I 100% love that post that @douglaskarr compiled and shared. Its very helpful for dealers and vendors.

Really? Are you saying that only you care? Beware using virtue signaling as your narrative.

Dj, love your passion, but c'mon dude...
your reply SELLS ADA compliance and SPEED and your reply is selling your business.

To flame @douglaskarr while mounting your white horse is a tad bit self-serving.

DJ, all vendors see problems thru the lens of "how my products fix this". May I suggest that you follow @douglaskarr's lead and post ways that the community can profit from your domain knowledge and experiences.

Dj, I 100% love that post that @douglaskarr

Would you have liked it as much without the link? 90% of the post Doughlas makes has a link back to his site, so in my humble opinion it makes it look more like its purpose is the link more than the content. There is already a long thread full of vendors here, it was ranked at the top of the board for a long time because everyone was dropping a link to their service.

Its very helpful for dealers and vendors.

Knowing most of the vendors on that list will get you sued and fined is also very helpful for a dealership. Most those sites are slow, bloated, full of coding errors and not ADA compliant.

Why does telling the truth bother you show much?

Why not prove me wrong?

A.) Find some ADA compliant dealership websites?
B.) Find some dealership websites that get 100% across the board on Google Lighthouse, error free, and load in the correct time frame.
C.) Prove being ADA compliant doesn't matter?
D,) Prove speed doesn't matter?

Really?

I never drop a link in a post...unless it is needed!

The profile is actually where you should promote your services, it then forces you to try and write content that is good enough to get people to go look at your services.

To flame @douglaskarr while mounting your white horse is a tad bit self-serving.

I pointed out a fact that seems to have gotten you upset, however not once did I try to promote anything.

Can you point out my link and where I tried to promote myself?

Or better yet prove not being ADA compliant doesn't matter!
Prove people don't get sued!

A dealership is at risk of being fined and sued and your upset at me for pointing it out?

Do you believe dealerships should be kept in the dark and no one should talk about the risk those companies put the dealerships in?

DJ, all vendors see problems thru the lens of "how my products fix this".

There is a correct way to build a website and an incorrect way to build a website. If a website is full of coding errors that is a problem, if a website is not ADA compliant that is a problem, dealerships should know about these problems and when vendors or web developers build websites that put their clients at risk they should be called out.

Why is calling them out a problem?

Should a mechanic that doesn't check his work, doesn't torque the head correctly, doesn't tighten the lug bolts on a wheel be called out?

May I suggest that you follow @douglaskarr's lead and post ways that the community can profit from your domain knowledge and experiences.

You want me to drop a link in every post I make?
Talk about how good my services are ... I mean I guess I could!
post ways that the community can profit from your domain knowledge and experiences.

You mean like pointing out if a website is not ADA compliant it can get you sued?
Or that page speed matters?

DJ, I am no upset, your reply is stuck in self validation, turn your narrative to helping the community. Example:

Or better yet prove not being ADA compliant doesn't matter!
Prove people don't get sued!
