Hi all, sorry if the topic is a little confusing. I went back about a year looking for an answer to this and didn't see any topics that were quite the same.

Anyways, we are looking for an inexpensive solution for one of our dealers to get their inventory photos online. We have a Dealer.com site and can upload batch images but not modify them in some way. The following is what we are looking for an all-in-one solution for:

-Batch Image re-size
-Batch Image re-name (if needed to associate the photos to a piece of inventory)
-Organization of the Photos by exterior -> Interior shots
-Attach a .TIFF overlay to the first image in the set

One of our Dealers uses HomeNet and another one uses Dealer Specialties. Both seem like reasonable options but I was curious what other options are out there and if there are any trimmed to just batch image processing.

Thanks!

You'll hear a lot of folks (me included) recommend FastStone Photo Resizer for many of those tasks. It'll do everything there except organize the exterior/interior photos...but we've always manually handled that in the interest of making sure the big-money features get top billing. (Your mileage, of course, may vary.)

But to put it this way, I keep Windows in a VM on my Mac for four reasons:
1) ERALink
2) Internet Explorer (you know, for That One Site That Demands It)
3) Office (only because we had a Windows license already)
4) FastStone Photo Resizer

It's that useful in our system.

Nathan Carr seeks an inexpensive all-in-one solution for batch processing inventory photos—including resizing, renaming, organizing by interior/exterior, and adding overlays—for a Dealer.com site. A community member recommends FastStone Photo Resizer as a robust tool that handles most of these tasks (though not automatic photo organization), which Nathan finds promising after testing it. The thread suggests FastStone is a widely-trusted, cost-effective option for dealers needing basic batch image processing before upload.
