Long time Refresh community member and contributor - @Brice Englert posted a short yet informative article over on the blog this morning around the importance of making sure that your dealership website lead forms (and any 3rd Party plugins, like a trade-in evaluation tool) are optimized properly to take advantage of automatic form fill, such as the introduction iPhone's new iOS 10.0.2 AutoFill feature.

We're already very much aware of the substantial drop in MOBILE lead form conversion on our dealership websites but could iOS 10.0.2 AutoFill feature help turn this around?

Go'ahead - pull out your phone, bring up your dealership website and see if all your lead forms are AutoFill compatible...

✨ AI Highlights

The thread discusses whether dealership websites are optimized for autofill features (like iOS 10's AutoFill) on lead forms and third-party tools, noting that mobile form conversion rates are already problematic. A commenter suggests additionally leveraging Google Places autofill to streamline lengthy forms like finance applications and service appointments. The key insight is that implementing autofill compatibility could be a practical way to improve mobile lead form conversion rates by reducing friction in the form-filling process.
