Hello,

I’m new to the forum and also new in the used cars business. I would like to learn more about transportation of auction bought vehicle economically.

Questions I have:

1.What is the average cost of transportation per vehicle ?
2.What is the best logistic company to use it for transporting vehicles
3.Do these logistic companies charge per vehicle or they give discount if I ship more than 1vehicle in the same truck.

1. It really depends on where you're shipping to and from. On average I would say $700.00
2. I've used Montway in the past with good success. A lot of the services out there are nothing more than brokers, which isn't always a bad thing.
3. Most will offer a discount for more than 1 vehicle.

your query is old but still people are looking for such information as i was... I say this from personal experience... I've used AutoStar Transport Express eight times and they’ve always delivered on time...

A new used car dealer asks for guidance on shipping auction-purchased vehicles out of state, specifically about average costs, recommended logistics companies, and bulk shipping discounts. Experienced forum members provide practical answers: transportation typically costs around $700 per vehicle on average, companies like Montway and AutoStar Transport Express come recommended, and most carriers offer discounts for multiple vehicles on the same truck. The thread confirms that brokers dominate the vehicle transport space and that negotiating better rates is possible when shipping multiple vehicles.
