Every April I look forward to the new NADA DATA full year report from the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), and the new PDF is live this morning for download (link in comments).

The NADA DATA report is one of my favorite research sources, comes out in full report every April, and half year reports in November. It is a free download I encourage readers to regularly review.

Some incredibly insightful data points to unpack, here is the first I wanted to share. Days supply for new vehicles, we knew this headed south for 2020, and the first half of 2021, but this really puts a number to it. The domestics fell much further from their high inventory levels, there are some interesting market share reports in the NADA DATA that complete this story by showing significant lost market share.
