Ford rolled out new DealerConnection sites a couple of months back that are being done by Click Motive. Has anyone switched to this service? How are your results and experience with it so far?

We currently have the old "free" DealerConnection site and another site by DealerOn.

Hey AJ,

A few key points as I see them:

1) Better overall conversion rate
2) ClickMotive sites are fully mobile ready
3) Ford will only send Tier 1 traffic to your FordDirect site

All three of these are great reasons to upgrade. The back end administrative panel and trackability of other marketing sources is also a huge plus but I'd imagine you could already do this with your 3rd party site.

The dealers that I work with are very happy with the upgrade. If you had any specific questions feel free to contact me directly as well. Hope this helps. :)

Yeah I use the Premier Customization Service offered by dealer connection and have been pretty happy with it. My site is linked below... haven't had a whole lot of time to work on it lately because my prime focus was my actual dealership website (DealerFire) which was WAY less cookie cutter and allowed me to do further customization that my Ford site wouldn't allow.
Kunes Country Ford of Antioch, Inc. - Your Antioch, Illinois Ford dealer for new and used vehicle sales and service

Have you looked into the new Elite sites that Ford Direct offers? They are Click Motive sites and they appear to be a great value for the price point. You also wouldn't need to have the .dealerconnection on your URL.

@Tom - Checked out your DealerFire site which looks very nice. Once you start pumping some content on that blog of yours, you will be amazed at the increase in traffic. Having the blog as a sub-domain is the way to go in my opinion.

I'd suggest putting a list of 20 Topics together and a schedule on when to post, this will give you some structure and direction.

Great to have you hear on DealerRefresh, your insights are a great addition.
