I disagree. 1. Pop-ups can slow down the site. 2. A pop-up can hinder the user experience. For example, the pop-ups where you have to submit a lead before you can go to the site. You will have either a larger abandon rate or a bunch of fake leads where people put in made-up info to proceed. 3. Customers do not like to give out information. The more info you ask for, the less they will completely fill it out. You need to build trust before asking for things like their birthday. It's a personal preference there.If you want more leads (with most likely lower conversion), only require an email.
