The adaptive site works 10x better and doesn't break. The chat works properly, the inventory is easier to navigate and the forms look like they're mobile functional. Any client that chooses the responsive option over that adaptive option should be convinced otherwise.

But yes, this is a bigger discussion. "Responsive Websites" is just a marketing term now.

I was in the DealerFire presentation (and I have the utmost respect for them) while the presenter was showing their responsive websites. His exact words were, "It's hard to see because of the resolution on this projector".


I'll reserve judgement for when the automotive industry delivers an actual responsive website with adaptive responsive content that hides based on device parameters.
