I feel/understand this 100% right now. Helping a buddy find a vehicle for his soon to be 16YO daughter, 4-5 years ago we did the same thing for his other daughter. Budget is $20k (grandpa is buying).The second daughter feels like she is getting cheated - the same $20k does not go nearly as far as 4-5 years ago. Like a HUGE difference in selection, age, quality, miles, etc etc.
