Hat's off to these guys, great job on the site.

Love the style, distinction, calls to action. Also really like the simple navigation. One of the things that bothers me about dealer sites is that the header navigation menus all feature a bunch of sub pages that are basically the same (Schedule a Test Drive, Request Information, Find My Car, etc.) and some what useless. It's pretty cool to see a slimmed down version of that and focus on generating leads from inventory. Nice job on the service page too! The green special offer bar at the top is a great idea, haven't really seen that much. Much better than a distracting pop-up/pop-under.

Really like to see someone "scratching their own itch" and bringing some new ideas to the table. Well done :D

Anyone have examples of similar sites? I think this one runs on Wordpress.

Looks Great! I think this is where the market is headed for the dealers that want to really out perform.. Similar to what my template looks like, (not the layout but the web gradients, sleek buttons and soothing hue of colors). I'm really of a fan of it to be honest! Very rare to find a custom dealer website that stands out. I would post mine but I'm private about it, maybe once I feel more comfortable on here I'll show what I have to offer..

Also I think I saw this on Dribbble.com awhile ago, but couldn't source the company the image was from.

Also wanted to add: There reason why we aren't seeing many new custom dealer websites is brand guidelines and compliance issues.. Subaru (Must use Dealer.com & stock templates.. no exceptions and they don't customize beyond that), Nissan (Font, Red Line, Header, Footer).. I'm sure there are others too. But given that options are becoming limited but I think dealers and brands are realizing times are changing. Let dealers roam out of the box and stir up new designs and display their brand proudly.

As well, it's tough to design around compliance issues and guidelines, when you must use this here and that there, it's adds much more work to a designer to incorporate all those features.. Most of the time they don't fit together well with other ideas.

Well hello everyone! Glad to see some positive feedback on our site :)

Not sure why the site was down when you all were checking -- everything's fine over here right now.

Yes, it's a Wordpress site. We have a custom inventory plugin that handles our data feed from Dealer Specialties and updates our inventory each night.

@kcar -- You sure did see this on Dribbble. The designers name is Josh Hemsley but he's no longer with the company that developed the site for us. The company's name is Fixel if anyone is interested.

We get stock photos and 360 spins from eVox as well as some additional vehicle data from DataOne software's VIN decoder API.
