I remember having this debate with my old CEO back in 2008. I wanted to lay it all out on the website with a menu of items like on Dell.com. Pick your computer, pick your added hardware, pick your pre-installed software, boom. He liked it but we simply never got around to it. If a vendor, even a website or CRM vendor, did something like that, I think that it would accomplish a ton for both the dealers and the vendor.
