Hi all. I've been lurking around these forums since I started working at a car dealership and have appreciated the comments and insights by everyone on here. We are considering signing up with Unhaggle. Has anyone used them and, if so, was it a worthwhile choice? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Hi Penelope - Welcome to DealerRefresh!! It's great to see another Canadian in the forums. I have a feeling you probably will not get much help on DealerRefresh regarding Unhaggle, as a majority of the community is from the U.S.

From what I know about Unhaggle's model it appears to be similar to Car Cost Canada. There are a few dealers in Ontario that are using Unhaggle but I haven't heard a lot of feedback.

Concept seems simple enough, might be an easy way to snag a few extra deals. Can you elaborate a bit on what your initial thoughts are regarding the offer?

Maybe Anthony from Capital GM or Mitch Gallant from Capital Ford have something to offer, they are usually lurking around in here.

Penelope, we're using them and for us in SK it's a low lead count... like <10/mo on all GM leads for the entire province. I assume Vickar is in Wpg? You may get higher vollume.

There aren't many (any?) lead providers like this in Canada but if you look to the success of our friends to the south it's easy to see the opportunity. It's a cost per lead and the shoppers are trained by the site to be transactional. So long as your process starts with the transaction in mind - you're transparent and forthcoming with good info and make it easy for them it's more than worth the cost per lead. If you go in with a loose process where salesmen call w/o info just to "get em down" you'd be better off saving your money.

Hope that helps!!

I looked into this for the Toronto and London regions and we didn't really see the traffic we wanted.
There may still be an ROI based on what you need to invest if you get even a few leads, but we have worked with Car Cost Canada in the past and found that they've been doing a decent job of it for a while.

There's lots of chatter about Unhaggle (good and bad) on the Red Flag Deals forums, but I don't see that many people using it just yet.
