For us, the more time that passes the more "likes" we get and the less traction we get.Facebook has made it incredibly easy to give someone the "pity like" and never see a single thing they post.The most successful thing I've seen is posting images or videos that are worth sharing - these can extend your reach and brings out some brand awareness, etc. The issue with that is Facebook isn't all that regional, so anything that extends beyond your region has significantly less value.In a nutshell, I think there's a way to do it but it requires focusing on local and community.If you can successfully build a local presence then IMHO that's the bar I set for success. Become a member of the community online, but make sure that the identity matches your website, store and any other branding across the web.
