when you break it down and explain that it's 50% parts and 50% labour it makes more sense to consumer, seeing a $7000 carpoof they picture $7k of smashing into a wall, not a head light and fender that now wraps up to the rear quarter.. plus bodyshops are known to inflate for insurance $$$
