Oodle has a premium package of some sorts that you have to pay per click or something and your vehicles show up first in the listings. They have tried to get us to do that in the past but we never have.
I would be interested to know if anyone has had some success with it!

I have yet to see any sustainable traffic from oodle to a dealers website
even though they are integrated on other platforms like walmart.com and
myspace.com..
I would love to hear a success story even from their free listings.

I just started using oodle free and I've got 3 ups.
BackPage? Never used it. Took a quick look, looks like a craigslist copycat. Who cares what it looks like as long as it works. Working for you eric?

Just checked....Our Craigslist posts are being pushed to Oodle. (nothing from it tho)
Backpage has been successful...
I like BackPage in that more HTML is allowed in the ads, they don't used 'nofollow' links and the H1 tag is inserted into your listing title - unlike CL which inserts the H2 tag.
Bottom line: Search engines play nice w/BackPage.

Nice advise Eric! I overlooked the HTML ability in Backpage. Hard to believe they are no inserting the "nofollow" tags.
I personally never received much from Oodle in the past but that was some time ago. I just flipped the switch in Homenet for several of our dealers for the free Oodle listings. Not expecting much if anything but what the heck...it's free.
