This question may have been asked previously, but I could not find it with a search. Where do you get your leads from? The reason I ask is because I am clueless as a fairly new Internet Director. Currently, we use different Ford Direct sources, Cars.com, AutoTrader.com, KBB.com, and CarsForSale.com. We had used TextUps which was a flop. Of course, we advertise in many different places. However, it seems that we may be lacking. Though I receive emails all the time from 3rd party lead providers, I really don't know whether they are legitimate or even good. I was wondering what anyone else may be using and whether they are any good.

I know that your website needs to be your number on lead generator, however I am having problems getting our traffic up. I went to a new website from vinsolutions about 5 months ago, and have not seen much improvement. Any advice would greatly be appreciated

✨ AI Highlights

A new Internet Director asks where dealerships should source their leads, mentioning current providers like Ford Direct, Cars.com, and AutoTrader while questioning the legitimacy of third-party lead providers. The key insight that emerges is that a dealership's own website should be the primary lead generation source, with one experienced dealer suggesting that if it isn't, there's a fundamental problem to fix. However, other participants reveal they're struggling to drive traffic to their dealership websites despite recent upgrades, indicating this is a common pain point without a simple solution offered in the thread.
