I've been contacted quite a few times by LEMACOM regarding their Customer Acquisition Program to market used inventory and track user activity. They claim to be having "phenomenal" results for their dealers. Can anyone tell me anything about these folks? Thanks!

I have never heard of them. I was curious and went to their website. I was shocked at how little information is provided. You think that they would explain their program or offer some testimonials ...something. Have you had a vendor that didn't offer "phenomenal" results?

From their website:

Classifieds
Listing on over 250+ syndications, disseminating to over 1000 websites daily.

Where do you get 1000 websites to send inventory!

I don't know these guys at all but, it looks like something very-very new. It has all the 'be ware' signs.

This is why I love Dealer Refresh! It just so happens that Paul DeMirza from LEMACOM called on us today and all I can say is that we were less than impressed with his presentation (or lack thereof). After a tense Q&A session where Paul couldn't name a single one of the 1000 web-sites they would send inventory to, we were left with a sour taste in our mouth and ended the call.

Paul was nice enough however to send along a follow up email letting us know that their "business solution will not be implemented even if it were applicable to your marketing needs because of the inability to ascertain the pertinence of our service to your group". Huh?? Talk about delusions of grandeur.

I think it's safe to say that these guys don't have their stuff together and it'd be best to stay away from their Silver Bullets and Magic Beans.

Not that Social Media is a key indicator of how a vendor performs but....I'm just saying I'm not impressed:

Burn the bridge and they shall not pass!

This LEMACON company reminds me of SMA alliance and other 20 companies that we have encountered over the last 5 years. They all create websites that make them look like this is a team of people with some good knwoledge and some weight behing their punches. They all talk about their years of experience, the dealer groups that they have, and all these 1000's of sites they can market and the rest of us can't.

In reality this is a guy or two that bought a Homenet, carsforsale, or some other craigslist tool license and they set themselves to go out in the world of advertising.

I realize this thread is almost a year old. I never felt it was something we had to address, but other folks felt otherwise. So, here goes. We have been in business almost three years. We have spent a great deal of money developing proprietary technology which enables us to post your dealerships inventory to online classified sites. Where we are now as a company is the best place we have ever been. The number of dealers on our system is the most it has ever been. I must say it's no picnic to try and keep you guys happy every month, but somehow we do it. Our renewal rate is at its highest since we started the company. Nowhere on my site do we say, "Listing on over 250+ syndications, disseminating to over 1000 websites daily." I will say that we post your inventory on enough sites that our average dealer receives between 6-10 phone calls per day from local buyers all calling in with vehicle specific questions. This usually results in a dealer selling anywhere between 7-10 extra units a month. I invite anyone reading this thread to contact me directly to discuss our system further. Mention the phrase, "Burn the bridge and they shall not pass!" and I will make sure you get a nice discount.

Since I'm the one that wrote this "Listing on over 250+ syndications, disseminating to over 1000 websites daily." I can assure you I took that from your website. I've no reason to lie about your services.

Craigslist has grown for everyone working with their system since they took the captcha and made ghosting easier to handle.

Your claims are not extraordinary, you are pretty well in line with what you can do on Craigslist if the dealer is in a good market.

An aggressive campaign with no prices, credit banners, vehicles under $20K, or unique vehicles (BMW 3 series, C class, etc) will sell 5 to 10 cars. I wouldn't go as far as you to claim that they will get 6-10 calls a day (that is 300 calls a month). We see that many calls ONLY if a dealer has superbly priced vehicles or a lot of Mitsubishi EVO, Subaru WRX, or RX-7.

All that being said and since this is a community were we all come to share and with that to learn, would you post a link to some of your ads so we can see what your system can do?
