Bing emphasized on social networks rather than website links for SERP?

Bing is giving much more preference for its SERP ,If you take a close look this days for Bing optimization you have to make links from social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Blogs rather than website links.If you can make some links from Facebook like button page that will be countable in a good manner.


Bing search engine specially like the links from your friends and your social networks group those who speaks about you and your website.Apart from that After a collaboration between Facebook and Bing , those online giants trying to dominate Google’s SERP algorithm by introducing this special pattern.Also with this marge Bing is integrated the Facebook database for SERP algorithm.So its time to change the SEM strategy for SEO.

This should not be a surprise. Take a look at what happens on Facebook when a post gets multiple "likes" and comments - Facebook drives it to the top of the results on the news feed under the "Top News" tab. If you are reading any of the eCommerce blogs outside of our industry (Hubspot is good), you can see that folks are working to add "like" buttons to their website pages, and to build social networking links back to their sites. I have already been putting some similar strategies in place with our sites and look to see this carry more relevance into 2011...

The the thing you need to maintain your social networks with your with your regular optimization.If you take a close look Bing having different algorithm, you can see lots of competitive keywords on No 1 spot on Google but they are hard to find top 100 on Bing..that indicates that you have to implement and follow a different optimization method..though its tough in single discussion..
though few interesting things we observed this days is ..how many "like" you have for your company face book page, how many followers you have, how many potential followers have by your followers(other wise it will be counted a trash followers), how many stumbles you have for your articles...how many linked in followers you or your company have..how many times your links are displayed on those social networks that brings good number link juice(keep it mind most of ip address for the social networking profiles who talks about you or profile should be unqiue,other it will be value less)...etc for more info about bing optimization log in to Bing Search Engine Optimization for Bing - Webmaster Center blog - Site Blogs - Bing Community
