We're looking for a fixed operations expert with Nissan experience. A service-oriented manager is preferred (see ad below), but a parts manager with service background works as well. ADP experience is a plus:

Summary
The service manager oversees the service department and is accountable for controlling expenses, growing the customer base, sustaining employee morale, setting and reaching sales and profit objectives while maintaining a dedication to customer service excellence. The service manager must resolve the service related concerns of all customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction that will be measured by the dealership and the manufacturer. The service manager must oversee the warranty compliance process and is expected to maintain the highest ethical standards. The service manager is responsible for the overall profitability of the department.
Job Duties
- Hiring and supervising all service department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance in serving customers.
- Creating goals and objectives for the department, including profit and expense projections, customer growth and customer satisfaction scores.
- Providing training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.
- Encouraging technicians to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic technical training on new systems and components offered by the automotive manufacturers.
- Staying compliant and up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures and receivables, while serving as a liaison with the factory representatives.
- Maintaining the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.
Job Skills and Requirements
- Previous Experience as Service Manager; Nissan experience is a plus.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to success.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as employees.
- Be aware of and understand all government regulations effecting the automotive service industry.
- Ability to analyze data to make decisions.
- Display and practice high ethical standards.
Salary Range
$60,000 - $85,000 (depending on departmental profitability)
