I recently started wondering whether getting new tires without checking the alignment can potentially lead to uneven wear again.
From what I understand, alignment determines how the wheels sit relative to the road and each other. If the angles are outside the vehicle manufacturer's specifications, the tires may wear more quickly or unevenly. That seems particularly frustrating after spending money on a new set of tires.
I'm curious how other drivers approach this. Do you have the alignment checked whenever you replace tires, or only when you notice uneven tread wear or steering problems? Also, has anyone noticed a significant difference in tire longevity after correcting an alignment issue?
