REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.
REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.

.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888-382-1222 888-382-1222 .
It is the National DO NOT CALL list It will only take a minute of your time.. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON .. It takes about 20 seconds.

Sharks - The Rest of the Story

Why Sharks Circle You Before Attacking.
>
> Two great white sharks swimming in the ocean spied survivors
>of a
>sunken ship. "Follow me son" the father shark said to the son
>shark and
>they swam to the mass of people. "First we swim around them a few
>times
>with just the tip of our fins showing." And they did. "Well
>done, son!
>Now we swim around them a few times with all of our fins showing." And they
>did. "Now we eat everybody." And they did.
>
> When they were both gorged, the son asked,"Dad, why didn't
>we just
>eat them all at first? Why did we swim around and around them?"
>
> His wise father replied, "Because they taste better without
>the shit
>inside!"
>
> Now you know...

The FTC says this IS NOT the case.

I copied this directly from the FTC.GOV website. Where are you getting this info from because it conflicts with theirs, it might clear things up.

"What about cell phones?

The National Do Not Call Registry accepts personal cell phones and home numbers. There is no deadline to place a cell or home number on the Registry. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers, so most telemarketers don't cold-call consumers on their cell phones."

The truth about cell phones and the DNC Registry is:

Contrary to the e-mail, cell phone numbers are NOT being released to telemarketers, and you will NOT soon be getting telemarketing calls on your cell phone.

There is NO deadline by which you must register your cell phone number on the Registry.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers are barred from calling consumers on their cell phones without their consent.

I didn't think to look up this information... But thank you for checking with the FCC
