Autobase, a division of Dominion Enterprises (www.dominionenterprises.com), is recruiting for an Account Manager. The Account Manager will deliver best practice and process improvement strategies to Autobase Customers that purchase their services.

Basic Purpose
As industry-recognized leaders of CRM solutions for automotive dealerships since 1988, we are on a mission to take our market by storm. As part of Dominion Dealer Solutions, we are leveraging the expertise of many market leading businesses to build solutions and service customers in a manner that far outpaces the competition. As such, this position will work intimately with our clients to incorporate best practices and process improvement strategies as they pertain to Autobase usage. The Account Manager will deliver these strategies to customers, onsite as well as via web conferences, when the customer purchases Account Management services.


Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

· Work with customers to analyze existing business processes around their usage of Autobase
· Formulate methodologies and industry best practice solutions and transfer those into a deliverable action plan
· Create curriculums and deliver high impact meetings and presentations to key dealership personnel
· Provide detailed meeting recaps and documentation on follow up items
· Recommend and sell additional products and consulting services based on dealer needs in order to meet and exceed sales quotas
· Work closely with other departments to identify additional revenue generating opportunities
· Seek out and maintain an expert level of knowledge on the Autobase product as well as a good level of knowledge on the automotive industry

Education and Experience

This position requires a minimum of 2 years employment at Autobase in a customer facing role or 3 years experience in an automotive retail environment or as an automotive vendor. Must demonstrate previous experience working with high level dealership personnel. Bachelors degree is preferred and previous sales experience is a plus. Experience utilizing Word, Power Point, and Excel are necessary to job functions.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills

· Working knowledge of dealership processes and an ability to create, train and implement best practices around Autobase usage
· Knowledge or ability to learn the Autobase CRM at an expert level
· Ability to develop and perform consultative sessions based on needs discovery with client
· Good level of automotive industry knowledge
· Experience in delivering high impact face-to-face presentations as well as web meetings business owners
· Excellent communications, organizational and planning skills
· Experience in multi-tasking
· Strong organizational skills are a must
· Excellent phone skills and customer service skills are essential
· Ability to work independently and in team environments


Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position is closely tied to the overall performance of the Account Management Team, and as such, faces various demands. These include physical demands such as lifting computers and or monitors, work days that will typically exceed eight hours and long stretches of phone work. This position also includes mental demands such as the normal stresses associated with interacting with people, managing projects, and completing tasks within a defined timeframe. Extensive travel within your defined territory (up to 60%) is required.

This position requires good communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a high level of initiative. Successful candidates are also expected to have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have the ability and willingness to make effective decisions and set priorities according to the needs of the organizational and project.


Reporting Structure
This position will report to the Personal Services Team Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This is a nonsupervisory role.
