I just received a phone call from someone at Dataium requesting that I opt into a combined study they are doing with AutoTrader. (Here is the opt-in info Data Sharing Permission Form ) I didn't realize they were working together to collect data, but it doesn't surprise me. Apparently, the dealers that help supply info will have access to all of their findings/conclusions before they go public...

Have any of you opted in?

Emily, Dataium did a study for Cars.com. I consider this a must read. It wasn't appreciated by the SEM/PPC folks. I wasn't really surprised that it was ignored on many of the other sites where vendors out number dealership people. Here is a link.

I heard months ago that Dataium might be doing a similar study for AutoTrader.

✨ AI Highlights

A dealer asks whether colleagues have opted into a combined Dataium and AutoTrader study that offers participating dealers early access to research findings before public release. Respondents indicate that Dataium has credibility from previous impactful research (including a Cars.com study), though one dealer notes the findings were largely ignored by vendor-heavy communities, and another confirms they enrolled months ago but haven't yet received any results from the year-long rollout.
