OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a full-time talented, hard working and strategic Digital Marketing Manger to help drive growth and innovation for all online initiatives. This role will oversee all site content, promotions, site analytics, optimization and conversion. The ideal candidate will provide strong idea generation, with a high level of interactive expertise, who likes to work in a fun, dynamic, and highly collaborative work environment. This strategic resource is responsible for the development, management, and support of the group’s overall digital marketing strategy. This person must lead and manage digital marketing initiatives within the organization through constant communication with executives and dealership personnel. It is critical to ensure an understanding, buy-in and execution. This position requires extensive digital marketing background, leadership experience with proven performance along with a dynamic, enthusiastic, self-starter attitude. Candidates must be excellent at multitasking, and should have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and communicate monthly analytics against benchmarks with executive team and dealerships in order to maximize awareness of strategy, initiatives, performance, challenges, and training opportunities.


  • This role is responsible for oversight and implementation including website platforms, Internet Lead Manager solutions, Vehicle Merchandising/Imagery solutions, as well as Search Engine Marketing Search Engine Optimization initiatives, 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Party providers, pilot programs, listing sites and URL management.


  • Identify objectives, strategies and new technologies to increase engagement and conversion. Manage and support social media and other community-building and interactive applications;


  • Ability to solicit dealership level feedback and align with the corporate strategy/solution while maintaining buy-in is critical for the dealer group to realize the efficiencies and performance gains that result from a centralization of digital marketing responsibilities.


  • Support marketing initiatives including assisting with campaigns, special events, internal & external communications, branding, public relations, SEM/SEO, analytics, partnerships & other marketing initiatives;


  • Writing, editing, and optimization of Web and other online-friendly copy, ensuring compliance with best practices and consistency with brand internally and externally;
  • Serve as primary point-of-contact for maintenance of the organizations websites, microsites, sub domains, and 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party partnerships.


  • Work with partners to review site content for accuracy and adherence to web standards and establishing best practices;


  • Deep knowledge, understanding and analytic ability to present results from Google Analytics, Google Insights, Webmaster Tools, Alexia, etc.


  • Develop new content that supports business objectives and develop corresponding pages on website ensuring adherence to SEO best practices;


  • Perform technical development of existing and new web pages;


  • Serve as primary point-of-contact and project manager for the creation of digital assets (i.e. website content, e-mails, newsletters, graphic development, video, audio, and other digital content internally and externally);


  • Maintenance of the organizations digital assets ensuring a coherent expression of organizations brand, adherence to design, editorial, and web guidelines;


  • Create, refine, and manage usage of digital content inventories, and other digital assets (images, video, audio, downloadable files) for brand management and optimized user experience;


  • Implement overall blogging strategy to support user engagement and SEO optimization;


  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, proven track record managing digital/online marketing while meeting business and financial goals using innovative and creative strategies and tactics;


  • Excellent copy-writing and verbal communications with strong attention to detail;


  • Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Flash or other design software;


  • Familiar with WordPress, HTML and CSS helpful;


  • Experience with website back-end tools, Content Management Systems, and Email marketing software;


  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving challenges proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive and engaged member of the marketing team;


  • Ability to work effectively in a high energy, high expectation work environment


  • Entrepreneurial spirit w/drive for innovation


  • Prior experience in automotive dealership operations is welcome.
